Australian goth-pop outfit The Jezabels clearly harbors an affection for the baroque drama of Kate Bush, both on record and stage, but Prisoner, their 2011 debut, shows them making bold strides towards their own collective voice. Prisoner was so well-received that it recently earned them the prestigious and coveted Australian Music Prize.
